Sam's tutorial on how to make images all rainbow...ie Example: First, get the image you wish to have a rainbow on. Open the image in photoshop. Create a new transparent layer by typing SHIFT - CTRL - N or just go to layer, new, then click layer. When the window pops up, just click ok. This is the layer that will have the rainbow on it. Now, make sure your working on your new layer, not your image. Now, we need to use the Gradient Tool. It can be found in the tool bar. Once you have the gradient tool selected, look at the top of the screen. Now, we need to change the gradient to 'Rainbow'. It's default setting is what ever colors you have selected for your coloring tools. Mine are set at Black as foreground and White as Background. It doesn't really matter what the colors are, 'Rainbow' is automaticly in the list. Now click the arrow next to the Gradient colors. And select the one called 'Transparent Rainbow'. Finally! We get to add the rainbow! Now go to your new layer you made a while back, and click on the image where ever you want the rainbow to start, then hold down the left mouse button and release where you want the rainbow to end. If you mess up, you can always undo the step going to edit and undo. NOW, you image should look something like this- Almost done, now we have to make the image show through and make the image below it colored. YAY DONE
